Whether you still attend a Haitian church, have moved on from it or have never been a member of a Haitian church, the profound spiritual, cultural, and communal nurturing provided by the Haitian church and our culture has left an indelible mark on our faith journey. From the genuine and heartfelt kompas-filled praise and worship to the post-church gatherings where everyone knew your name, to la jeunesse, prayer services, to the comforting rituals found in the chan d’esperans and the familial atmosphere, the church truly felt like our second home. Despite where we may currently be, the bonds of our shared faith and culture intricately unite us, and we look forward to connecting or reconnecting with you, sister “sè”.  We’re crossing generational barriers so from Gen Z to Millennials to Gen X to Boomers (our “ti manmi”) nou vle we ou (we want to see you).
